Our school 100% passed licensing inspection
On Friday March 16, we welcomed an official from the Phoenix licensing office to our classroom. After a few feverish weeks with our amazing volunteers doing building repairs and fixes around the playground & classroom, we were ready!

As she asked for one document after another, the official remarked on our preparedness. Shara handed each easily from our files. Shara showed the official our materials, opened our first aid kit, and demonstrated all the areas as they went down the list.
In the end, the inspector said, “I have never seen a teacher so prepared for her inspection!” When she notified us that we passed, she added that we received no deficits. That means there is nothing we are missing or in fault of that requires a specific review when she returns for the surprise follow-up inspection in approximately 6 months.
As soon as we got the news of our passing and thanked the inspector, Shara returned to the classroom. She soon heard a knock on the door. It was the official. Shara wondered, maybe there was something she forgot to check? Shara opened the door to a smiling official with another woman. “My supervisor is with me: I had to bring her in here to see your room. It’s the cutest I’ve seen in 25 years!”
We couldn’t be happier with our successful licensing. We knew we were ready but now we are really ready! “I’ve seen many programs start up,” the official told us. “Based on your passion and commitment to making it happen, I can already tell you’re going to be very successful.”

Thank you again to all who have helped make it happen! We will see you at our family Launch Lunch in April!
Fabulous. Can you send me a link so I can post on my FB?
